1999-2002   Creative Writing Tutor, four 10-week Adult Education Courses (Oxford, and Cumbria); and also day courses, ‘Criticising your creations’

2005 CARA/CAPE-UK Creative Partnerships Award, ‘Footprints in the Sand’, with Stephen Burrowes, head of Science at Settlebeck School, Sedbergh, helping 12-14-year-olds use creative writing and audio work to explore ‘the science of the sea-shore’  (AL as creative partner and shore biologist). Subsequent to this Stephen and I were invited as guest speakers to the Creative Partnerships' 'Digging for Diamonds' conference, London, to talk about the methodology and results of 'Footprints in the Sand' project
