2005 ‘Seaside Pleasures: Philip Henry Gosse and the marine aquarium’

In Devon Life, June 2005, pp114-15: Gosse pioneered the development of the marine aquarium and thus started the Victorian craze for aquaria in their front rooms. Gosse and his wife play important roles in the Victorian aspects of my novel Seaside Pleasures.
